Everything about our stay was great. Rosario was amazingly responsive and helpful before our trip, and when we arrived, she and her family continued to make us feel welcome. The breakfasts are a wonderful way to start the day, and she went out of her way to be helpful with anything we needed or any questions we had. The home is very very clean and so many beautiful plants too!

Rosario ist eine tolle Gastgeberin und ein super freundlicher und zuvorkommender Mensch. Sie hat uns wichtige Tipps zu Havanna gegeben und uns unsere Taxis gebucht. Das war sehr hilfreich und es waren immer sehr vertrauenswürdige Fahrer. ein großer Dank auch an ihre Mama Rakel, die den besten Kaffee Kubas macht!! Also unbedingt bei ihr frühstücken. Wir haben das Frühstück jeden Morgen in der Casa genossen. Des Weiteren war unser Zimmer stehst sauber und hatte eine funktionierende Klimaanlage. Von der Straße hört man morgens bereits die Autos, aber das ist Gewöhnungssache und hat uns nicht gestört. Auch liegt die Casa sehr zentral und man ist überall fußläufig.

Oh man, where do I even start? I have visited Cuba 7 times and this stay has been one of the most memorable stays/experiences that I have ever had. The house was amazingly clean, the room was perfect and the location was within walking distance to the main attractions. What really made our stay though are the hosts-- they are truly amazing people and will go out of their way to help you as much as they can. Breakfast is delicious and huge. Fresh fruits, tasty coffee, omelettes, bread and fresh squeezed mango juice. We also had the opportunity to eat dinner at the house. We asked Raquel if she could make us dinner and it was DELICIOUS. If you have the chance, please do yourself a favor and eat here. It will be one of the best meals you will ever have (She makes an amazing arroz con leche that we are still dreaming about). If that wasn't enough, maybe you'll be as lucky as we were to see Raidel and Paola salsa dance! If this is your first time in Cuba or you are visiting again, please trust me and look no further. You won't regret it and will have an experience of a lifetime while meeting such genuine and kind people. THANKS for everything Raquel, Rosario, Paola, Raidel!!

It was the second time I have been staying at Rosario’s place and I must say it was once again a great decision! She and her family are truly incredible people, who make you feel like a part of their family. The place is decorated very nicely and is also spotless clean. The hosts are always happy to provide you with helpful tips about Havana and if you find yourself in any trouble they are very quick to respond. I would come back to stay with Rosario any day!

Rosario and her mum are super lovely! My Spanish is still very beginner but Rosario spoke perfect English which made my stay very easy. She had lots of great tips about the city and what to do. The room is lovely, very private, with a closet and spacious ensuite. Great place to relax after a long day walking around the beautiful streets of Cuba! Close walking distance to a lot of cool things in Old Havana. Rakel is an amazing cook - definitely have dinner with her if you get the chance! I didn't have breakfast as I had a lot of early early morning activities but I have no doubt breakfast is also delicious. I'd definitely recommend staying here!

Rosario and her family are the kindest, most generous hosts I've ever had the pleasure of staying with in all of my 21 countries I've been to! You will not regret staying there. My only regret is not knowing that Rosario loves Twilight, otherwise I would have brought her alllllll the memorabilia. So please do me a favor and bring her some

Hermosa estancia en La Habana y todo en parte debido a la amabilidad de la gente de La Casona de Rakel!!! Gente muy cercana muy amable y excelentes personas. Una preciosa casa, recién reformada en pleno centro de La Habana!!! No olvidaré nunca mis vacaciones en Cuba gracias a gente como ellos. Enhorabuena están haciendo un trabajo espectacular !!!

La Casona de Rakel es como una segunda casa. Acogedora, limpia, cómoda y fácil para moverse por el centro de la Habana Vieja. La Familia es espectacular y tratan siempre de hacerte pasar unas vacaciones inolvidables. No veo la hora de regresar, allí he dejado mi corazón.

La atención de Rosario, Raquel y María fue de las mejores cosas de nuestro viaje a Cuba. Abrir su casa y sus corazones a nosotros fue muy especial. Pasamos un muy buen rato y fuimos muy bien atendidos. La comida estuvo espectacularmente rica. Esperamos volver
